20080628 Hike to Silver Lake

Silver Lake Trailhead, Saturday, June 28, 2008

This group met at the parking lot of the Oak Hills 8th Ward parking lot at 9 am, then drove to the Silver Lake trailhead, pictured here. After some late arrivals, a stop to pick up Audrey near The Olive Garden, a stop for gas, Dora's last minute grocery shopping at Kohler's in Highland, and an unexpectedly rough and rocky dirt road leading to the trailhead, we started our hike at about 11 am.
